Tadka! Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add 3-4 green chilies slit length wise. Add a pinch of turmeric powder to the oil. Now add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown. Blend 4 tomatoes to make a fine puree and add it to the pan. Now add 1 teaspoon of ginger paste.

Time for some spice! Add just a pinch of dry mango powder and red chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder and half a teaspoon of kitchen king masala. Cook this mixture well for about 3-4 minutes.

Add the veggies… Slice the mushrooms and add them to the pan. Now add diced paneer and pre-boiled green peas. Now add about 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup, 1-2 teaspoon mustard sauce, a little bit of water and lots of cream. Add salt and black pepper powder to taste. Stir well and let it cook for about 5-7 mins.

Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves & serve hot. Enjoy the Yummy & Tangy Mushroom Paneer Masala…

TIP: Dip paneer in warm water for about 10 mins before cutting it into cubes. This will make it deliciously soft!
